The contract is in the final stages of New York State approval. + Ex Libris' project leaders: Ms. Marlene Harris (SUNY project and Fredonia implementation), Ms. Naomi Leiser (SUNYConnect's consortial components), Ms. Marie Erdman (Binghamton, Buffalo and Stony Brook), Mr. Michael Blake (Oswego and Tompkins Cortland). + The pilot sites have been oriented to the basic ALEPH system architecture and to the major steps involved in data conversion and migration to the Ex Libris system. + Initial tests of data extraction procedures and formats have begun. SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES + SLiCAT has recommended that SUNYConnect purchase 700+ netLibrary titles. Access to the ebooks is scheduled to be available by the end of the month. + October 16th is the deadline for SUNYConnect Database Survey responses. ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS + Additional policies have been added to the list of SUNYConnect policies. + A version of the SUNYConnect web site that is compliant with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is available. + The OLIS is currently interviewing individuals to fill four new positions in the office.
