(The SUNY - Ex Libris contract number is CM00611.) + Fredonia's "kickoff" meeting, system and conversion analysis occurred October 23-25. + Library directors at the pilot sites have been asked to return the Memorandum of Understanding by November 6. + A hardware configuration meeting included representatives from SUNY OLIS, Ex Libris, Sun and LMS pilot sites (October 24-25). "Test servers" have been ordered and additional hardware price quotes have been requested from Sun. + The SUNYConnect Advisory Council indicates that the next group of implementing libraries will be announced in the March April 2001 timeframe. SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES + SLiCAT is evaluating HarpWeek, a full image database of 19th century issues of Harper's Weekly. + Geneseo has loaded netLibrary records representing the Nylink collection. They have opted for two additional document types: "Electronic book" and "netLibrary" are added to each of these records. netLibrary MaRC representing the SUNYConnect collection should be available soon. ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS + The SUNYLA Executive Board is working on selecting members of LMS implementation "work groups". + SUNYConnect brochures and a promotional video have been sent to all SUNY library directors. + SUNYergy Vol. 2 No. 4 is available.
