The SUNYConnect LMS (ALEPH500) is in production at SUNY Fredonia. +Binghamton, Oswego and Tompkins Cortland are all due to be evaluating test databases next week. +Sun computers with Oracle and ALEPH software have been installed at Binghamton, Buffalo, Oswego and Stony Brook. +Stony Brook has provided data extracts to Ex Libris. SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES + SUNYConnect is finalizing a purchase of HarpWeek (the Civil War segment, 1857-1865). This is a full-text, full-image database of Harper's Weekly. + The OLIS and other SUNY representatives met with Elsevier to discuss a SUNYConnect purchase of ScienceDirect. ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS + Ms. Michelle Moorhead has joined OLIS as a Library Systems/Database Administrator. Karen Gardner-Athey (Librarian/Trainer) began working for OLIS February 1st.
