SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT
+ Migration schedules for the other SUNYConnect LMS libraries will be
        distributed within the next two weeks.
+ Larger, "production" Sun computers are scheduled to be shipped on
        April 6, 2001.  This also includes a test system for OLIS' use.
+ Many of the SUNYConnect LMS pilot sites are evaluating test databases.
+ Along with evaluating test databases, the pilot sites are busy with
        a full array of training sessions, configuration decisions,
        client software installations and server maintenance activities.

SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
+ ScienceDirect has been added to SUNYConnect.  SUNY and Elsevier have
        reached agreement on SUNY-wide online access to the full-text
        of 700+ Elsevier journals.

ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS
+ The Data Management Working Group has been formed.  The members are
        John Edens (University at Buffalo), Michelle Eichelberger (Finger
        Lakes Community College), Maggie Horn (convener; SUNY OLIS), Nancy
        Hoshlyk (Plattsburgh), Cynthia Powers (Nassau Community College),
        David Ritchie (Cortland), Jane Subramanian (Potsdam).
+ SUNY library directors were sent information on downloading the
        ALEPH 500 documentation.  Please practice good netiquette when
        downloading the documentation.
+ The North American ALEPH Users' Group meeting is scheduled for
        June 3-5, 2001 in Montreal.
