SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT
+ OLIS, ITEC, other SUNY colleagues as well as Ex Libris and Sun are
        involved in installing and configuring "production" server
        machines.
+ The SUNYConnect Advisory Council has distributed the LMS Migration
        schedules for the other SUNYConnect LMS libraries.

SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
+ ScienceDirect has been added to SUNYConnect.  SUNY and Elsevier have
        reached agreement on SUNY-wide online access to the full-text
        of 700+ Elsevier journals.
+ The SUNY Library Contracts Advisory Team (SLiCAT) is finalizing an
        additional purchase of netLibrary titles.  The additional titles
        will be recent editions in medical and business subject areas.

ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS
+ The SUNYConnect Advisory Council meeting scheduled for May 2nd
        has been canceled.  The S.A.C. Financial sub-committee will
        be meeting on that day via conference call.
+ Provost Salins, Carey Hatch, Maureen Zajkowski and Larry Randall
        all made presentations to the SUNY Council of Library
        Directors (SCLD) during the Council's Annual Meeting.
+ SCLD endorsed Provost Salins' vision of "leveling up" all New York
        State academic libraries in regards to group purchases of
        electronic resources.  The SCLD requested that Nylink
        coordinate these activities.
+ Carey Hatch and Pamela Peters (Delhi) gave a SUNYConnect update to
        the SUNY Business Officers' Association.
+ The OLIS staff will receive ALEPH training beginning in May.
+ The North American ALEPH Users' Group meeting is scheduled for
        June 3-5, 2001 in Montreal.
