SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT                            
+ TC3's STP!  Tompkins Cortland Community College has begun using the 
	SUNYConnect LMS (ALEPH500).  Thanks to Linda Frank, Dave 
	Lewis, Steve Massey-Crouch and others for their efforts.
+ Buffalo is evaluating a full test database.
+ Binghamton is evaluating a subset database.
 
SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES                    
+ All SUNYConnect campuses now have free trial access to the Universal
	Database of Russian Publications through Sunday, Sept 30. 
	Go to http://online.eastview.com 
	Select the type of publication you wish to search. On the page 
	that then appears, click on IP Address Access. 
+ Free SUNYConnect database workshops/training sessions are available.
	Go to http://www.tc.suny.edu and click on "Register for 
	SUNYConnect Classes."
+ The SUNY Library Contracts Advisory Team (SLiCAT) meeting scheduled
	for September 13, was postponed.

ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS                                
+ Work on a SUNYConnect OPAC template has begun.  The pilot campuses and
	the Access Management Working Group are providing input and 
	assistance with this project.
+ The Universal Borrowing Sub-group of the Access Management group began
	reviewing a list of assumptions on September 6, 2001.  These 
	assumptions will become the basis for the SUNYConnect universal 
	borrowing privileges.
+ Ms. Clare Merrill is scheduled to begin working at the SUNY Office of
	Library and Information Services on October 11, 2001.  Ms. Merrill
	has been hired as a System Training Specialist.
+ Meetings between OLIS and Ex Libris scheduled this week to discuss the 
	SUNYConnect union catalog and the next group of ALEPH 
	implementations were postponed.
