SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT
+ Binghamton, Buffalo and Stony Brook are all at various stages of
        evaluating full test databases.
+ Production server configurations have not been completed.  This
        includes the pilot site systems as well as the configuration
        for an OLIS system designed to be used for testing and training.
+ The next group of SUNYConnect LMS implementers is Broome, Cayuga,
        Cortland, Herkimer, Morrisville, Onondaga and Upstate Medical.
        The initial meeting for the project is scheduled for November 9th.

SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
+ All SUNYConnect campuses now have free trial access to the Universal
        Database of Russian Publications.  This trial has been extended
        until October 15.
        Go to http://online.eastview.com
        Select the type of publication you wish to search. On the page
        that then appears, click on IP Address Access.
+ Free SUNYConnect database workshops/training sessions are available.
        Go to http://www.tc.suny.edu and click on "Register for
        SUNYConnect Classes."

ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS
+ Maureen Zajkowski is presenting at the 2001 ICAU meeting in Greece.
+ Welcome, Ms. Clare Merrill, the newest member of SUNY's Office of
        Library and Information Services.
