SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT
+ Binghamton is reviewing their final database load.  The plan is to
        begin using ALEPH for technical services by the middle of this
        month, with a full "STP" January 2, 2002.
+ Stony Brook is reviewing a full test database.
+ Ex Libris is finalizing a full test database for Buffalo.
+ Binghamton has conducted a successful test of the programs used
        to load Marcive records.  Issues related to the MaRC tag used
        for record overlay are being resolved.
+ The first data extraction for the first Group2 campus (Onondaga) is
        scheduled for next week.
+ Fredonia has implemented Z39.50-based access to their ALEPH catalog.
+ SUNYConnect LMS server configurations have not been completed.
        Some progress has been made on work needed for the Oswego and
        OLIS machines.

+ SUNY OLIS has reached agreement with SUNY Oswego for 20% release time
        for Oswego's System Librarian, Natalie Sturr.  Natalie will be
        assisting OLIS with SUNYConnect LMS issues.
+ The SUNYConnect Advisory Council provided Provost Salins a SUNYConnect
        update this past Tuesday.
+ SUNY OLIS offers congratulations to Cerise Oberman (Plattsburgh) on
        her appointment to the Distinguished Librarian rank.
