Binghamton University "switched to production" using the SUNYConnect LMS on January 2, 2002. Congratulations to the Binghamton team on their good work. + Stony Brook's final "production" load is delayed. They are still hoping to go to "STP" on January 14, 2002, however. + Buffalo is evaluating their second full test database. + Initial data extractions for the Group2 campuses have begun. Onondaga's and Cortland's have been completed; Broome's is scheduled for next week. + Group2 ALEPH training begins next week. + For their new inquiries, SUNY Oswego has made the transition from Ex Libris implementation support to receiving ALEPH assistance from Ex Libris' Customer Support staff. + The SUNYConnect LMS "production" server configuration has been completed at Oswego. Areas are being set up for the first two Group2 loads (Onondaga and Cortland) on a test machine. SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES + The number of ScienceDirect titles available SUNY-wide increases from 712 to 863 this month. Thanks to the SUNY University Centers for their help in this regard. + The SUNYConnect Advisory Council is soliciting comments on a plan to increase the campus fee used to purchase SUNY-wide database access.
