SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT
+ Cortland and Onondaga are evaluating their first (ALEPH) test
        databases.
+ Initial data extractions for all seven Group2 libraries have occurred,
        except for Upstate Medical's.  Theirs is scheduled for next week.
+ A full test database is being finalized for Stony Brook.
+ Some of the Group2 libraries are involved in a series of ALEPH training
        classes.
+ Binghamton has successfully tested the addition of "CJK" records into
        their ALEPH catalog.

SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
+ SLiCAT has established a SUNY-wide free trial that allows online access
        to the full-text of The Nation (1865-1999).  The trial lasts
        through February 2002.

+ Additional training classes for ScienceDirect and for Gale's
        OneFile have been added to the SUNY Training Center schedule.  To
        register for these April 2002 classes, go to http://www.tc.suny.edu

ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS
+ An initial meeting regarding the formation of a SUNY ALEPH users
        group was held January 11, 2002.
+ The SUNY (DRA) Web2 interface now includes notes and links to Binghamton,
        Oswego and Tompkins Cortland's ALEPH OPACs.  SUNY Web2 also
        includes Z39.50-based access to Fredonia's ALEPH catalog. For
        example http://albweb2.sunyconnect.suny.edu/ and select the
        "Search other SUNY Libraries" option.
+ Stony Brook's "STP" is delayed.  The new date is March 28, 2002.
+ The University at Buffalo has opted to delay their ALEPH implementation
        indefinitely.
