Congratulations to Larry Jenkins and Alice McNeely (plus the rest of the Broome library staff) as well as John Spencer and Jeff Harr (along with the other Onondaga library staff members) on their "switch to production" using the SUNYConnect LMS (ALEPH500). + Cayuga, Cortland and Morrisville have ceased technical services' processing in Multilis in preparation for their "switch to production" using the SUNYConnect LMS. + Cayuga's final circulation data extract (from Multilis) has occurred; Morrisville's is scheduled for May 25th. + Binghamton has successfully tested and implemented ALEPH's Z39.50 server. + Thanks to Dave Nuzzo, Head, Acquisitions Dept., University at Buffalo for visiting Tompkins Cortland and discussing workflow analysis within the context of the SUNYConnect LMS. SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES + SLiCAT has been provided trial access to databases from Ebsco, Gale and Proquest, as well as to a business database called MISER. ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS + The initial SUNY implementers of the SFX (linking) software: Binghamton, Cobleskill, and Fredonia. + SUNY OLIS will be sending out information to the SUNY library directors soliciting their level of interest in the SFX software product. + We are sorry to report the resignation of Ms. Michelle Moorhead (SUNY OLIS) as of June 30, 2002.
