SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT
+ Delhi, Orange and Ulster switch to ALEPH!  Congratulations
        to Verna Loker, Joyce Sen, Anna Reed (and other Delhi
        staffers); Susan Parry, Amy Hillick, Peter Staats
        (plus others at Orange); Kari Mack, Karen Carney (and
        others at Ulster) for their efforts in reaching this
        milestone.
+ Initial SUNYConnect LMS implementation meetings with Group4A
        begin next week.  Group4A - Alfred Tech., Ceramics, Alfred
        University), and Corning.  Group4B -  Buffalo State, Erie,
        and Jamestown.  Group4C - Finger Lakes, Genesee, Geneseo,
        and Monroe.

SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
+ SLiCAT has discussed with S.A.C. a plan to allow SUNYConnect
        campuses more flexibility in choosing a suite of
        SUNYConnect databases.
+ Negotiations are underway with Elsevier in regards to
        SUNYConnect's ScienceDirect offerings.
+ SUNYConnect hopes to have a JSTOR offering available by
        fall of 2003.

ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS
+ September 19, 2003 has been set for the first SUNY ALEPH
        Users' Group conference (Syracuse, NY).  Presentation
        proposals are requested by May 1st.
