SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT                                   
+ Group4 training has begun; Alfred State has their first
	test database; initial planning meetings will be
	finished up by mid-June/early July.
+ Ex Libris Implementation Librarians for Group4:
	Mary Croxen (Alfred State, Corning, Erie, Finger
	Lakes, Jamestown, Monroe); Chris Holly (Alfred U.,
	Buffalo State, Ceramics, Geneseo); Debbie Cheesman
	(Genesee).
+ Binghamton (a standalone SUNYConnect LMS site) has
	upgraded to ALEPH500 14.2 patch 5/6.
+ The Group3 libraries have transitioned from Ex Libris
	implementation support to Ex Libris technical 
	support.
+ A new SUNYConnect union catalog prototype is scheduled
	to be available for initial testing on June 15, 2003.  
	The prototype will include the catalogs of Binghamton, 
	Cayuga, Cortland, Oneonta, Stony Brook Health Sciences, 
	Sullivan and Upstate Medical.
+ SUNY ALEPH Users' Group delegates have been asked to
	comment on customized SUNYConnect LMS reports
	by June 25, 2003.

SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
+ OLIS has recruited Abigail Bordeaux (Binghamton) to provide
	SFX consultations to various downstate SUNY libraries.	  

ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS             
+ The University at Buffalo has postponed their implementation
	of the SUNYConnect LMS.
+ The "Westaleph" backup schedule can be found at
        http://westaleph.sunyconnect.suny.edu/orabkups/
        This is for the machine housing the SUNYConnect LMS
        for Group3.  (The LAIP News #244 incorrectly included
	Group2 in this announcement.  Thanks to readers at
	Oswego and Morrisville for pointing this out.)
+ The Group2 backup schedule can be found at the Oswego/ExLibris 
	web page (which is accessible via the SUNY ALEPH500 
	portal).
