SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT
+ Alfred State, Alfred University, Buffalo State, Ceramics,
        Corning, Erie, Finger Lakes, Geneseo, Jamestown and
        Monroe are evaluating test databases.
+ Genesee's test database has been delayed.
+ The OLIS sends thanks to the Group4 campus staffs for
        their efforts implementing the SUNYConnect LMS.
+ The machine used for Group4 test databases has been upgraded.
+ Work on upgrading shared server sites to ALEPH 14.2 patch 7
        has begun.  Patch 7 has been installed on the Oswego test
        server.  Configuration issues need to be addressed before
        more progress can be made.
+ Albany, OLIS and Ex Libris met in July regarding their
        implementation of the SUNYConnect LMS.  Albany is
        planning to implement ALEPH version 16.  Expectations
        are for the server configuration to be done in late
        summer/early fall, training classes will be scheduled
        in fall/early winter, data loads for review over
        winter/spring and a switch to production in July 2004.
+ The Data Management Working Group is testing the new union
        catalog prototype.
+ The OLIS' Joe Thornton has developed a web interface for
        ALEPH configuration table editing.

SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
+ Mark Sullivan (Geneseo) has agreed to provide a SFX workshop
        to assist campuses with SFX implementation/utilization.
+ Arrangements have been made with Ex Libris to hold four
        SFX training sessions in October.

+ The last issue of The SUNYConnection was mis-labeled as
        #36.  It should have read issue # 37.
