Congratulations to Barbara Hornick-Lockard, Melissa Santacrose and staff (at Corning); Jane Ashwill and Christine Dehoff (plus staff at Erie); Amy Rupp, Kay Callender and staff at Jamestown for reaching this milestone. + Buffalo State College's "STP" has been delayed. + Twenty-nine SUNYConnect institutions are currently using the ALEPH500 software. + Initial data conversion activities have begun in regards to Albany's implementation of the SUNYConnect LMS. + The plan is to upgrade the ALEPH500 14.2.4 sites to ALEPH500 version 14.2.7 during December and January. + Maureen Zajkowski is meeting with the Group7 library directors and staff to provide a preview of the implementation process. Group7 is comprised of Downstate Medical Center, Farmingdale, Fashion Institute, Maritime, Nassau, Old Westbury, Optometry, Suffolk and Westchester. Group7 implementation meetings will begin in December. + Ex Libris has assigned a new Project Manager (Eva Kraul) to the SUNYConnect Union Catalog project. SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES + SUNY and Elsevier have reached a tentative agreement on a one year renewal to the ScienceDirect offering. + SUNYConnect has established free trial usage of the new Women and Social Movements database through Jan. 14, 2004.
