      SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT 
      + Aye, sea; I see! that Maritime and Optometry have STP'd!
      Congratulations to Kadri Niider, Tina Perez and the
      staff at Optometry as well as to Constantia Constantinou,
      Elizabeth Leschinsky (and staff at Maritime) for reaching
      this milestone. Sew, who's next? - Fashion Institute.
      + Representatives from UB, Ex Libris and the OLIS met this week
      to discuss the renewed SUNYConnect LMS implementation at
      Buffalo.
      + Approximately seven million records have been loaded into the
      SUNYConnect union catalog. SUNYLA 2004 attendees had a 
      chance to hear Ex Libris Project Manager Eva Krall discuss 
      the project.

      SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES 
      + SUNYConnect is not able to pursue a purchase related to Gale's 
      Virtual Reference Library (GVRL). SUNY campuses interested
      in this product can contact Gale's Nancy Harris

      ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS 
      + The OLIS was one of this year's recipients of the "Friend
      of SUNYLA" Award. The SUNY Office of Library and 
      Information Services is very grateful to SUNYLA for
      this award and for what it represents regarding our
      ongoing collaboration with SUNY's libraries and
      librarians.
      + The OLIS has completed interviews for two Library Application
      Developer positions.
      + Congratulations to Jane Subramanian (Potsdam), Eastern New 
      York Association of College and Research Libraries' 
      Librarian of the Year.
      + Thanks to conference organizers and presenters for a great
      SUNYLA 2004!
