Congratulations to Heather Miller and Roger Gifford (as well as staff at Albany); Cynthia Powers, Rich Delbango and staff at Nassau; Barbara Walsh and Stephen Kirkpatrick (as well as staff at Old Westbury); Carole Gambrell and Kevin McCoy and staff at Suffolk upon reaching the "STP" milestone. + All of the Group6 and Group7 libraries have STP'd. + There are now 44 SUNYConnect institutions utilizing the new LMS: SUNY university centers (3); health science centers (3); university colleges (9); technology colleges (6); community colleges (20); statutory/specialized (2); private (1). + Data analysis and additional planning meetings for Group8 begins this month. Group8a is comprised of Adirondack, Clinton, and Plattsburgh; Group8b - Columbia-Greene, Dutchess and New Paltz; Group8c - Cobleskill, Fulton-Montgomery, Hudson Valley and Schenectady. SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES + The SUNY Counsel's Office is reviewing the SUNY-Elsevier agreement. The five year ScienceDirect agreement includes access to nearly 400 additional journals (starting in 2005). ADDITIONAL SUNYCONNECT NEWS + Ex Libris' Carmit Marcus met with OLIS representatives this week to discuss ALEPH software developments needed for SUNYConnect-wide borrowing capabilities. + Natalie Sturr (Oswego) notes that it has been three years since they STP'd to ALEPH.
