SUNYCONNECT LMS PROGRESS REPORT
+ Plattsburgh has begun evaluating a test (ALEPH500)
        database.
+ The University at Buffalo has now tentatively scheduled
        their "STP" for summer 2006.
+ Ex Libris has proposed to have a universal borrowing
        component suitable for SUNYConnect's needs available
        by March 2005.

SUNYCONNECT DATABASES / ELECTRONIC RESOURCES
+ Use http://service.sunyconnect.suny.edu/footprints/help.html
        to access MaRC records for the Gale Virtual Reference
        Library (GVRL).  After accessing the Footprints system,
        switch to the SUNYConnect Electronic Resources Project
        and entry #143 for access and additional information.
+ The OLIS has begun work on establishing a "shared instance" of
        SFX for SUNYConnect.  Set to be available as of 2005,
        this service would allow individual campuses to spend
        less time/staff resources on configuring and maintaining
        their SFX system.

+ Thanks to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for hosting OLIS and
        demonstrating their consortium-wide library circulation
        system.
+ Eva Krall, the Ex Libris project manager who has worked with
        OLIS on the Union Catalog, will be transferring from
        Aleph implementations to SFX/Metalib assignments after
        October.
