Visual Resources Available to all of SUNY

The SUNY Digital Repository has over 6000 images provided by the Art History Department at Binghamton University. Recently they voted (unanimously) to allow these images to be shared within the SUNY system for educational purposes.

Access to the full-size image is restricted to the SUNY community. If you are using a SUNY IP address to visit the SUNY Digital Repository you will have this access. If not, you will need to register within the SUNY Digital Repository using a valid SUNY email address. Registration can be done directly at http://dspace.sunyconnect.suny.edu/register, otherwise you will be asked to register upon requesting the full size image.

Please note that your browser may be set to resize large images to fit the browser window; turn this setting off to download the image in its original size.

Many thanks to Marcia Focht (Binghamton) for her efforts over the years and to the Binghamton Art History Department for making this resource available to their SUNY colleagues.

ScienceDirect Statistics and Subscription Management Site under Development
The OLIS is developing a web-based system for ScienceDirect statistics and subscription management information. You'll be able to easily see what kind of usage ScienceDirect is getting at your campus. And you'll be able to compare it with usage at other SUNYs. The system will also allow you to see the costs as well as the costs per use for specific Elsevier titles and specific SUNY campuses.

We're working with a SCAC sub-committee to fine-tune and improve the system. Roll out will be later this year.

SUNYConnect-wide New Titles List
Curious about new titles added to the SUNYConnect union catalog? See the new titles listing - this feature is currently under development. Let us know how it can be improved.

Version 16 Web OPAC Support Resources Available
The SUNY ALEPH500 Implementation Portal now has a "Version 16 Web OPAC Support" link. There you will find a variety of resources to assist you with upgrade of your web opac to ALEPH v.16.

JS is ERC
John Schumacher is now Electronic Resources Coordinator in SUNY's Office of Library and Information Services. He's serving as Project Manager for the E-Resources Evaluation Team. John is your point of contact on questions regarding SUNYConnect electronic resources. The Footprints service request system can be used to forward your inquiries about electronic resources.

Electronic Resources Page has Links to Tech. Support, etc.
The SUNYConnect electronic resources page now has links to technical support and additional information about these resources. Let us know of any changes or additions we should make to this page. Thanks.
