Colleagues from around the state got together on Columbus Day. It was the fourth annual SUNY ALEPH Users' Group meeting. Thanks to our host Fulton-Montgomery Community College and conference planners and presenters for a successful and productive day. 30+ SUNYConnect campuses were represented among the more than 80 attendees. Program chair, Marianne Hebert (Potsdam) gets special note for serving in this capacity two years running. The conference program shows the growth of the organization. Along with sessions on many parts of the SUNYConnect LMS, the agenda also included broader SUNYConnect-related topics. This included presentations on using SFX for collection development decisions and on the process of choosing and implementing electronic resource management systems. SUNYAUG is a great example of the type of collaboration and community-building that sets SUNYConnect apart from other SUNY-wide initiatives. This is the standard that SUNY librarians set that should be modeled across many other parts of SUNY. SUNYConnect libraries do it together! Some highlights from the conference included:
