All SUNY alumni members now have access to EBSCO Publishing’s Academic Search Alumni and Business Source Alumni databases – providing valuable research tools to alumni any time of day. These two resources support the research needs of post-graduate professionals by providing access to thousands of full-text and indexed and abstracted journals.
Academic Search Alumni offers indexing and abstracts for more than 8,200 journals (7,150 peer reviewed) and full-text content from more than 3,350 journals including Time, Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report and Scientific American. The database covers information in nearly every area of academic study including biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology and religion and philosophy. Business Source Alumni offers full-text for nearly 1,450 business journals (750 peer reviewed). Full-text sources range from general periodicals to trade publications to top management journals. The database also includes full-text country economic reports, industry reports, market research reports and company profiles. Business Source Alumni includes publications in nearly every area of business including marketing, management, accounting, finance, econometrics and economics. EBSCO Publishing, a leading database provider, offers multiple options for authentication to these databases. The default method uses a library-issued user ID and password however, other authentication options are available.
